The best way to learn about what kinds of jobs are out there within a particular field and make connections with potential employers or other contacts is to attend outside events and activities. Southern California has a wealth of resources to help you learn more about everything from local ecology and newly developed medical treatments, to discoveries outside of our galaxy.
